Sharjah Police, represented by the Security Media Department in cooperation with relevant police departments across Sharjah City and the Eastern and Central Regions, continues to implement its field awareness campaign “Your Belongings, Your Responsibility.”
The campaign targets workers across different areas of the emirate and aims to raise awareness about the importance of protecting personal belongings and money, while promoting preventive behaviors that help reduce incidents of loss, theft, and negligence.
The initiative forms part of Sharjah Police’s ongoing efforts to strengthen preventive security and enhance community awareness among various segments of society, particularly workers. Through direct and simplified awareness messages, the campaign encourages self-protection practices, safe handling of personal belongings, and avoiding leaving valuables or money in exposed or unsecured places.
The campaign also included the distribution of awareness leaflets featuring several important safety guidelines, including keeping money and personal belongings in secure locations, avoiding sharing personal or banking information with others, and immediately reporting any suspicious behavior or observations through official communication channels.
Sharjah Police affirmed that the campaign reflects its continued commitment to enhancing security-related quality of life across the emirate and raising preventive awareness among community members, helping reduce negligence-related behaviors while strengthening the sense of safety and reassurance for all.
