Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, swore in on Wednesday, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, 26 judges of the Dubai Cassation Court at a ceremony held at Zabeel Palace.
The new judges pledged to administer justice, respect law and discharge their duty with complete integrity and loyalty.
Shaikh Mohammad urged the judges to do their best to pronounce verdicts as quickly as possible so as to serve interests of people and save time.
Shaikh Mohammad emphasised the importance of upholding the principles of justice and equality among all segments of the community as a vested right for all, regardless of their race, colour or faith.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by a number of Shaikhs, Ministers and senior judicial officials.
