The job of this department is to prepare the different field plans to face any acts violating the internal; security to collect, control and execute data and information serving operations' plans in addition to arrange operations theatre as well as to manage and follow up them also to follow the ability of the different administrative bodies to execute the designed field plans.

The department also runs the (Comprehensive Patrols- Anjand) to maintain public order, the works of security control and putting the security measures of the official convoy in addition to the operations of preventing and discovering the different forms of crimes. This department also takes on the works of rescue, relief, first sheltering and to ensure and supervise the traffic flow.

Sharjah Police operations department is consisted of two sections:
Section of Patrols (Anjad).
Section of operations.
