Inspection Procedures
To bring the vehicle with the following papers:
Customs certificate.
Insurance certificate.
Inspection paper.
The vehicle is inspected if it passes the test it will be refer to vehicles licensing to finish registration process. In case of failure the vehicle return back to repair the required then try inspection again.

Procedures of Registration
They are divided into two types; the first if the vehicle is from the agency then the person (non-national) shall bring import certificate, a copy from driving license, a copy from his/ her valid passport with residence permit, a photo and a letter from the sponsor or the guardian. The insurance shall be valid for [13] months and sale from agency is directly to him.
For nationals they shall bring the same except the non-objection letter. Of course, new vehicles do not subject to check inspection after licensing vehicles referred directly to registration and receiving plates and title card.
In regard to used vehicles, they should firstly check inspection branch to confirm its appropriateness and conformity to specifications then completing the above mentioned procedures pertaining that no vehicle is registered if it does not satisfy the GCC specifications.
