It is one of Traffic and Licensing department sections that issues light and heavy machineries and vehicles licenses for institutions and companies working in Sharjah Emirate as per the following classification:

• Institutions and companies working in Sharjah City receive the service (issuing licenses) at Traffic and licensing department
• Institutions and companies working in Central Region receive the service at Al Dhaid vehicles' licensing committee office in Al Dhaid Police Station (AL Dhaid City)
• Institutions and companies working in the Eastern Region receive the service in Khorfakkan City at Vehicles' Licensing Committee office (Khorfakkan Traffic Department)

Documents required by Traffic Committee:

• A letter addressed to traffic committee along with an undertaking
• Trade license copy
• A list showing number of employees.
• Laborers' accommodation contract copy
  

NB:


• Institution and companies vehicles' licensing applications will only be received on Sunday and Monday of every week
• Transactions are delivered on Monday and Tuesday of every week
• A list showing number of employees from Labor Office
