The Sharjah Police, represented by the General Department of Operations and Security Support, held a dialogue session with residents of Al Dhaid City at the Al Bustan Suburb Council headquarters. The session aimed to strengthen community partnership and cooperation with all segments of society by discussing ways to enhance traffic safety, listening to residents’ views and suggestions, and supporting the development of security services to achieve a safer traffic environment.
The session was attended by Brigadier General Dr. Omar Al Ghazal Al Shamsi, Director General of the General Department of Operations and Security Support; Colonel Mohammed Al Mahrazi, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department; Colonel Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, Head of Al Dhaid Comprehensive Police Station; and Saeed Musabah Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Head of the Al Bustan Suburb Council, along with a number of Al Dhaid residents and members of the Suburb Council.
The discussion addressed several topics related to police services and traffic safety, including the review of improper road behaviors and phenomena, as well as proposed solutions and recommendations presented by residents. These inputs are expected to contribute to the development of the policing services system and the enhancement of traffic awareness programs, positively impacting overall road safety across the emirate.
Brigadier Dr. Al Ghazal Al Shamsi emphasized that such dialogue sessions serve as a direct, interactive platform for exchanging views and perspectives and for listening to the community’s needs and feedback. This approach supports evidence-based decision-making aligned with real community requirements, helping achieve desired objectives and improving service delivery in a manner suited to the nature of the area.
