Sharjah Police announced, through the Vehicles Licensing Department, the commencement of procedures to replace old vehicle plates with the new design, effective Monday, 16 February 2026, at approved locations across the Emirate of Sharjah.
The department clarified that the replacement process will be carried out at the following locations: Registration Village – Sharjah, Sharjah Old Cars Club, and Registration Village – Khorfakkan, in accordance with the approved and regulated procedures.
The General Command invited owners of vehicles bearing old plates to visit one of the designated locations to replace their current plates with the new design, in line with the approved updates to the vehicle licensing system.
The General Command of Sharjah Police reaffirmed its commitment to continuously developing its services and enhancing initiatives aimed at improving service quality, in line with best practices, and strengthening customer satisfaction.
