Sharjah Police Strengthen Community Partnership through Field Visit to Shees Area

As part of Sharjah Police’s commitment to strengthening community partnership and reinforcing the foundations of security and stability, the Department of Community Prevention and Protection visited the Shees area. This visit supports ongoing efforts to enhance direct communication with community members, aligning with strategic directions that aim to build a safe and cohesive society.

The visit was led by Brigadier Mohammed Ali Al Ghazal, Deputy Director of the Community Prevention and Protection Department. He was received by His Excellency Mohammed Khamis Al Naqbi, Deputy Wali of the Shees area. The visit aimed to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and joint coordination between security and community entities. These efforts support a safe and stable environment and enhance social cohesion within the area. Mohammed Al Ghazal affirmed that such field visits stem from Sharjah Police’s approach to strengthening partnership with the community, reinforcing bridges of trust and communication, and listening to the public’s views and observations. This supports the development of the security work system, improves the quality of services provided, and enhances safety and security across the emirate.

He added that tourism-oriented areas are a priority in preventive work plans. Field presence is intensified, and partnerships with local entities are strengthened to ensure a safe, attractive environment for residents and visitors alike. The visit included a field tour of the Shees area's facilities and roads, reviewing security measures and service levels, assessed the area’s needs, especially given the recent increase in tourism. This requires intensified preventive efforts and enhanced security readiness in line with the area’s nature.

A community session was also held at His Excellency Mohammed Khamis Al Naqbi's majlis. During this session, key security and community issues were discussed. Several development proposals were reviewed to strengthen joint efforts and activate communication channels with community members. This direct connection helps speed up response and increase coordination efficiency between the community and Sharjah Police.
