Sharjah Police Arrests Two Motorists for Serious Traffic Violations and Refers Them to Public Prosecution

By Ohood Suleiman Al Naqbi

Sharjah Police arrested the drivers of two vehicles after they committed serious traffic violations, including reckless driving and endangering the lives of other road users. One of the drivers also published videos on social media documenting and promoting the violations.
Sharjah Police said investigations led to the identification and arrest of both drivers. The first driver was found to have shared video clips on a social media platform showcasing the traffic offences and boasting about his dangerous behavior.
Further investigations revealed that the second driver had been prohibited from driving and was already the subject of a previous police notice relating to similar traffic offences. He was also found to have a history of repeated traffic violations.
The force confirmed that both vehicles were impounded and that the drivers have been referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the necessary legal procedures.
Sharjah Police reaffirmed that it will take firm action against anyone who endangers the lives of road users or uses social media platforms to promote dangerous driving behavior. The public was urged to comply with traffic laws and report any conduct that threatens the safety of people or property, helping to ensure safer roads for everyone.
