The Sharjah Police convened on
Thursday morning its first meeting of the Permanent Supreme Command Council for
2026, chaired by Major General Abdullah
Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police. The
meeting was attended by council members, directors-general, department heads
and their deputies, as well as a number of specialized officers.
During the meeting, several topics aimed at strengthening security
performance were discussed, including a review of the 2025 achievements of the
General Department of Criminal Security and Ports, and the presentation of a
number of new and innovative initiatives planned for 2026. These efforts align
with the General Command’s methodology and its commitment to closely monitoring
developments in police work and enhancing strategic planning to achieve future
objectives.
The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police commended the efforts of the
directors-general, department heads and their deputies, along with all
personnel of the General Command, for their contributions over the past year,
which played a key role in achieving Sharjah Police’s strategic performance
indicators. He urged them to continue doubling their efforts to attain higher
levels of quality and institutional excellence across the policing system.
