Sharjah24: Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer was appointed Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police (SP) and witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between SP and Al Tayer Motors. The agreement aims to improve employees’ quality of life by providing access to vehicles through long-term lease-to-own schemes, without the need for bank financing.
Brigadier Dr Ali Buzoud, Director General of the General Directorate of Resources and Support Services at SP, signed the MoU on behalf of the police force, while Mr Rizleigh Grand signed on behalf of Al Tayer Motors. Several directors, their deputies, and representatives from the relevant departments of both organizations attended the ceremony.
The MoU is part of SP’s “Tamalluk” initiative, which aims to provide practical solutions to help employees acquire vehicles easily. The scheme aims to meet employees’ needs, make their working lives more satisfying, and create a positive and supportive environment.
Brigadier Dr Ali Buzoud said that providing better services for employees remains a top priority for SP. “Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our staff, increase their job satisfaction, and have a positive impact on their families,” he said.
He noted that the initiative builds on earlier SP programmers, including "Sharjah Little Nursery", which supports working families, and "Darb", which helps employees and their families with transport to various destinations. These initiatives are part of SP’s long-term plan to support staff both professionally and personally.
He added that collaborating with private companies is key to delivering high-value services. “These partnerships align with the UAE’s broader goals and Sharjah’s focus on wellbeing and quality of life,” he said.
He also confirmed that SP is preparing further agreements with major automotive firms to expand its range of employee-focused initiatives in the near future.
