World's Cultural Capital in 1998, Sharjah has continued to earn numerous
accolades, such as the Islamic Culture Capital, Arab Tourism Capital, Healthy
City, and Child-Friendly City, in addition to ranking among the safest cities
in the world.
The Arabic language holds a special place in the heart of its leader - may
God protect him - as Sharjah has achieved a remarkable feat that will be
eternally recorded in the annals of Arab and Islamic history: the publication
of the Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language in 127 volumes. This is
just one of many groundbreaking projects across the emirate, including
initiatives in food security, particularly in the agricultural, livestock,
and environmental sectors. This achievement reflects the insightful vision of
