Sharjah Police, represented by the General Department of Criminal Security and Ports, has successfully uncovered the circumstances surrounding the murder of two Kazakhstani sisters and arrested a suspect of the same nationality in record time.
The arrest followed intensive police efforts involving search and investigation, evidence gathering, information analysis, and the careful linking of findings, which enabled the teams to identify the suspect, locate him, and take him into custody swiftly.
The case began when the Operations Room received a report of a suspected crime inside a residential apartment. Specialized police teams immediately launched search and investigation procedures to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The relevant teams arrived at the scene and carried out detailed fieldwork, including examining the location and gathering information and evidence. The use of advanced technologies also helped investigators analyze and connect the available information, leading them to uncover the circumstances of the case, as well as the reasons and motives behind the crime.
Brigadier Dr Khalifa Balhai, Director of the Criminal Investigations Directorate at Sharjah Police, said that intensive investigations revealed that the two sisters personally knew the suspect and that disputes had arisen between them, ultimately leading him to commit the crime.
He noted that the swift response, close coordination between the security teams, and accuracy of the field procedures played a key role in uncovering the circumstances of the case and arresting the suspect in record time.
Brigadier Dr Balhai added that, when confronted with the evidence and findings of the investigation, the suspect admitted to committing the crime. The necessary legal procedures were taken against him, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, praised the high level of efficiency demonstrated by the criminal investigation teams, as well as their swift response and professional handling of the case.
He stressed that solving the crime and arresting the suspect in record time reflect the advanced readiness, field efficiency, and ability of Sharjah Police to address various security challenges.
