Sharjah Police General Command has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Arabic Language Educational Center for Gulf States in Sharjah to strengthen cooperation and knowledge exchange, while advancing employees’ language and writing skills. The agreement is designed to enhance professional practices and institutional outputs, and promote greater collaboration in knowledge and educational fields.
The MoU was signed on behalf of Sharjah Police General Command by Brigadier Faisal bin Nassar, Director General of the General Department of Community Prevention and Protection, and on behalf of the Arabic Language Educational Center for Gulf States by Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi, Director of the Center.
The signing ceremony was attended by Brigadier Dr. Tariq Al Madfa, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Community Prevention and Protection; Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Butti Al Hajri, Director of the Security Media Department; and Colonel Dr. Muammar Hamad Al Mazini, Deputy Director of the Decision Support Center Department.
Brigadier Faisal bin Nassar said the agreement reflects Sharjah Police’s commitment to building effective partnerships with specialized academic and knowledge-based institutions and benefiting from their expertise to further develop the capabilities of police personnel.
He noted that cooperation with the Center will help enhance the quality of institutional writing and improve knowledge content and publications, supporting overall organizational performance while aligning with Sharjah Police’s focus on sustainable investment in human capital and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Under the MoU, the two sides will strengthen cooperation in the linguistic review and proofreading of studies and academic publications in line with recognized research methodologies. They will also exchange knowledge, publications and expertise in linguistic, educational and community-related fields, and jointly organize training programs, seminars and lectures.
The agreement also aims to develop Sharjah Police employees’ skills in administrative writing, including the preparation of official correspondence and security reports.
