Sharjah Police, in cooperation with the National Guard Command and a number of strategic partners, carried out the joint operational exercise “Al Jidar Al Haseen 2026” as part of the Ministry of Interior’s federal-level exercise plan.
The exercise brought together the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, the Air Wing Department of the Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate of Security Support, as well as ambulance teams from the Federal Authority for Ambulance and Civil Defense.
The exercise was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and Major General Staff Saleh Mohammed bin Mejren Al Ameri, Commander of the National Guard, along with a number of directors general, commanders of military units and formations, and senior officers.
The exercise featured a series of simulated security scenarios involving escalating and complex incidents. These scenarios tested the speed of response, the efficiency of command and control systems, crisis management procedures, and the level of coordination in support and reinforcement operations among the participating entities, ultimately leading to the containment of the situation and the restoration of security and order.
The exercise demonstrated the readiness and efficiency of field teams in responding to a wide range of challenges in line with the highest professional standards. It also highlighted the strong coordination and operational integration between Sharjah Police, the National Guard, and participating partners, contributing to enhanced security and stability and the protection of lives and property.
