Sharjah Police honored an Arab resident for his honesty and responsible conduct after he found AED 85,000 in one of the emirate’s areas and promptly handed the full amount over to the police.
The recognition took place in the presence of Colonel Humaid Saeed bin Sahooa, Director of the Commercial Areas Police Department, in appreciation of the resident’s commendable action and commitment to safeguarding the rights of the money’s owner.
Colonel Humaid Saeed bin Sahooa praised the resident’s conduct, stressing that honesty and social responsibility are fundamental values that help strengthen trust and reinforce cohesion within the community. He also commended the resident’s initiative and cooperation with the police, noting that his actions reflected a strong sense of responsibility and set a positive example for others.
Sharjah Police reaffirmed its commitment to recognizing positive members of the community whose actions reflect noble values and responsible citizenship. The force also encouraged members of the public to hand over any lost property they find to the relevant authorities, helping to protect people’s rights and enhance safety and security across the community.
For his part, the Arab resident expressed his appreciation to Sharjah Police for the recognition, saying that his actions were simply part of his moral and social responsibility.
