Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Community Security Department, organized a lecture titled “My Family, My Happiness” for its female personnel at the Sharjah Police Science Academy.
The lecture aimed to raise awareness of the importance of family stability, promote the values of respect, understanding and open dialogue, and encourage a healthy balance between family and professional responsibilities, contributing to improved quality of life and greater family well-being.
The session was delivered by Dr. Radhiya Hassan Al Raisi, Director of the Family Guidance Department at Sharjah Courts of First Instance. She addressed several topics related to building positive family relationships and highlighted the role of effective communication and dialogue in strengthening family bonds and cohesion. She also discussed practical approaches that can help individuals balance family responsibilities with work commitments.
The lecture also featured a presentation by Captain Ghanima Issa from the Community Security Centre, who highlighted the center’s key family counselling services and their role in providing support and guidance to families. She explained how these services help families respond positively to various challenges while strengthening family cohesion and overall quality of life.
At the conclusion of the lecture, Major Alya Al Harmoudi, Head of the Community Activities Branch, honored Dr. Radhiya Hassan Al Raisi in recognition of her valuable participation and contribution to enriching the discussion and supporting the objectives of the lecture.
