Sharjah Police Discusses Enhancing Security Integration and Border Operations at Khatmat Milaha Border Crossing

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Kuwaiti, Director General of the General Directorate of Ports, discussed ways to strengthen coordination and institutional integration among the security and customs authorities operating at border crossings and border areas.
The discussions focused on enhancing security readiness, improving the efficiency of joint operations, and ensuring smoother procedures and services. The meeting took place during the Commander-in-Chief’s visit to the Khatmat Milaha Border Crossing.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Major General Abdulrahman Abdullah Al Helo, Director General of the General Department of Preventive Security; His Excellency Major General Omar Ahmed Balzoud, Director General of the General Department of Criminal Security and Ports; His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi, Director of Ports and Border Points Affairs; His Excellency Khalifa Hamad Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Land Ports Affairs Sector; His Excellency Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Zaabi, Director of the Sharjah Land Ports Passport Department; and His Excellency Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard Group.
The meeting also explored mechanisms for developing joint operations and strengthening the exchange of information among the relevant authorities. Discussions covered measures aimed at improving response times and ensuring the efficient handling of various situations at border crossings and border areas, while strengthening coordination and enhancing the effectiveness of security operations.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer stressed that continued coordination and unified efforts among the relevant authorities are essential to improving the efficiency of border operations. He also highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise and information to strengthen security readiness and further develop procedures, contributing to enhanced safety and security while improving the quality of services provided.
The visit reflects Sharjah Police General Command’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with relevant authorities and further developing an integrated security framework across border crossings and border areas, reinforcing institutional coordination and supporting sustainable, efficient and effective performance.
