Committee for Controlling and Removing Violations in Commercial and Industrial Warehouses in the Emirate Holds Its First Meeting

In implementation of the Executive Council’s directives regarding the formation of a specialized committee to control and remove violations in commercial and industrial warehouses, His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, chaired a coordination meeting at the headquarters of Sharjah Police, in the presence of committee members. This comes within the framework of enhancing joint collaboration, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and elevating public safety standards across various facilities.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Hamad Ali Al Mahmoud, Director of the Economic Development Department; His Excellency Sultan Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Director of the Department of Municipalities Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director General of the Department of Municipalities Affairs; His Excellency Brigadier Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority; His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Directorate of Prevention and Safety; His Excellency Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality; His Excellency Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority; Brigadier Jaber Al Nuaimi, Director of the Executive Office Department; Major Eng. Ali Abdullah Sahoo from the Digital Services Department, along with officials from relevant entities.
Major General bin Amer emphasized that these efforts align with the Emirate of Sharjah’s vision to establish an integrated system for security and safety, and to strengthen an advanced regulatory framework that supports the implementation of safety standards across vital sectors. He noted that institutional integration and continuous coordination among concerned entities constitute a fundamental pillar for developing the regulatory system and addressing challenges through an integrated approach that ensures swift response and effective procedures. This
contributes to providing a safe and sustainable working environment that supports comprehensive development and enhances quality of life in the emirate.
The meeting also addressed ways to strengthen coordination among concerned entities and to integrate roles in implementing joint plans, thereby raising field readiness, ensuring smooth procedures, and reducing irregular practices to safeguard lives and property.
