Sharjah Police held the second coordination meeting for the “Healthy Sharjah” program, chaired by Brigadier Dr. Ali Ahmed Bu Al Zoud, Director General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services, with the participation of team members representing various departments.
Brigadier Bu Al Zoud highlighted the importance of strong coordination among participating entities and stressed the need to provide the required data and supporting documentation, reinforcing Sharjah’s position as a leading model in health and quality of life.
He also emphasized the importance of appointing coordinators within relevant entities and organizing awareness workshops to support working teams. These steps aim to clarify requirements, accelerate progress, and ensure sustainable institutional performance in line with global best practices.
The meeting reviewed the requirements of emergency preparedness and response standards, while also discussing ways to enhance coordination among team members to improve readiness and unify efforts in line with the World Health Organization’s Healthy Cities program standards.
