His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, attended the “Our Flag, Our Pride” cycling event organized by the Sports Activities Section of Sharjah Police at the dedicated cycling track in Masar, Al Siyouh Suburb. The event was attended by directors general and their deputies, department directors, and a number of officers and personnel.
The event commenced with a spirited national ambiance, as participants formed rows carrying the UAE flag, symbolizing the unbreakable unity and solidarity of the security staff. This sporting initiative fostered physical fitness and emphasized the importance of teamwork.
His Excellency Brigadier Faisal bin Nassar, Director General of the General Department of Community Prevention and Protection, affirmed that national belonging offers a revitalized approach to police work and that this event reflects the vision of wise leadership in strengthening national identity as a key pillar of the institutional environment. He noted that initiatives blending national and sporting dimensions develop more balanced and positive personnel, while bolstering their professional readiness and efficiency.
Brigadier bin Nassar added that Sharjah Police is keen to diversify its initiatives in line with quality-of-life objectives and to strengthen institutional cohesion, noting that such events serve as vital platforms for reinforcing values, deepening the spirit of belonging, and encouraging personnel to adopt sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
The event drew energetic participation and strong engagement from attendees, who expressed pride in joining the initiative.
