Sharjah Police and the Department of Human Resources Celebrate the Graduation of the Third Cohort of Occupational Safety and Health Representatives

Sharjah Police, in cooperation with the Sharjah Human Resources Department, celebrated the graduation of the third cohort of the “Occupational Safety and Health Representatives in Government Entities in the Emirate” project. The ceremony was held at the Sharjah Archaeology Museum, in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier General Omar Al Ghazal Al Shamsi, Director General of the General Directorate of Operations and Security Support, Colonel Jassim bin Taliah, Director of the Accreditation and Training Department at Sharjah Police, along with a number of officials from both entities.
His Excellency Brigadier General Omar Al Ghazal Al Shamsi affirmed Sharjah Police’s keenness to establish a comprehensive preventive system founded on raising awareness, promoting a culture of safety in the workplace, and instilling the principles of prevention and professional responsibility in a sustainable manner. Such efforts contribute to enhancing institutional performance and achieving the highest levels of readiness. He further noted that the program aims to qualify competent personnel capable of effectively addressing potential risks and occupational emergencies by equipping them with practical knowledge and specialized skills that ensure the safety of individuals and the protection of property, in accordance with best practices and approved professional standards.
The Director General of the General Directorate of Operations and Security Support also commended the concerted efforts and the constructive collaboration with the Sharjah Human Resources Department, highlighting its significant role in the success and continuity of the project. This reflects a strong spirit of institutional integration and effective partnership, in alignment with the Emirate of Sharjah’s vision to enhance quality of life and strengthen institutional readiness across government entities.
