Sharjah Police Participates in the World Summit on Sustainable Security and ISNR 2026 Exhibition, held under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening its presence at international forums, keeping pace with the latest developments in security and smart technology, and creating opportunities to exchange expertise and future visions with global security entities.
His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, affirmed during his participation in the dialogue session held as part of the Summit under the title "Leading the Future: How Nations Protect Their Stability in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" that strengthening security and stability is a shared responsibility built on the complementary roles of security institutions and all segments of society. He noted that community awareness and continuous cooperation are fundamental pillars for supporting the security system and achieving sustainable stability.
His Excellency explained that the UAE's society is distinguished by its cohesion, integration, and high level of awareness, which has contributed to enhancing the country's readiness and proactiveness in dealing with various challenges and crises efficiently and effectively, thanks to the wise vision of the country's leadership and the integrated institutional approach among all entities. Major General bin Amer added that these practices have strengthened citizens' sense of reassurance and safety and have consolidated the UAE's position as a global model in community security, stability, and quality of life.
He also affirmed that the Sharjah Police's participation in this global exhibition aligns with its strategic vision aimed at consolidating its security leadership and enhancing its institutional innovation ecosystem, through the deployment of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to support the security system and serve the community, in line with the UAE Government's directions toward building a sustainable security future grounded in innovation and proactiveness.
His Excellency added that this participation represents a strategic opportunity to showcase the most prominent development projects and initiatives implemented by Sharjah Police, and to explore the latest global experiences in smart security and digital transformation, thereby enhancing operational security efficiency and the quality of services delivered to the community.
During its participation, the Sharjah Police showcased a number of advanced security projects and innovations, including: a cybersecurity laboratory system for digital case management, a traffic safety system based on intelligent data analysis, a drone system supporting field operations, a modern radar device for enhanced traffic monitoring, and the "INEOS Grenadier" vehicle designated for rapid intervention in emergency situations and disasters. These systems are the product of innovation laboratory outputs and innovator support initiatives, reflecting the Command's unwavering commitment to adopting innovative solutions and strengthening knowledge and technology partnerships, in support of the security ecosystem and reinforcing the UAE's position as a global hub for security and technological innovation.
