Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, accompanied by His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Airport Authority, conducted an inspection visit to the Ports and Airports Department. The visit was attended by Major General Dr. Ali Ahmed Bulzoud, Director General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services; Major General Omar Ahmed Bulzoud, Director General of the General Department of Criminal Security and Ports; and Brigadier Matar bin Dikhan, Director of the Ports and Airports Department at Sharjah Police.
During the tour, His Excellency reviewed the department’s operational readiness and the mechanisms for delivering security services to travelers. He also met with employees and listened to their views and development proposals as part of Sharjah Police’s commitment to continuous improvement, enhancing the work environment, and strengthening institutional performance.
These efforts contribute to improving the quality of security services, reinforcing the readiness of the policing system, and enhancing the overall passenger experience in line with Sharjah’s position as a leading global destination for travel and tourism.
As part of the visit, Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer officially launched the new uniform for Airport Police personnel.
The uniform has been designed in accordance with modern standards that account for the operational requirements of the airport environment, with particular emphasis on functionality and practicality. It is made from high-quality materials that provide comfort and flexibility during duty while preserving the visual identity of Sharjah Police. The new design reinforces a unified professional appearance, enhances personnel readiness, and supports operational efficiency across various security functions.
The introduction of the new uniform forms part of Sharjah Police’s ongoing efforts to develop the work environment, enhance institutional performance, and provide its personnel with the best possible resources and support.
