Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, received a delegation from Du, led by Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Executive Officer of the company, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the institutional partnership between the two entities in the fields of technology and cybersecurity. The meeting was attended by several Directors General from the Sharjah Police, senior officials from Du, as well as officers and representatives from both sides.
Lieutenant General bin Amer welcomed the visiting delegation and commended the longstanding cooperative relationship between the Sharjah Police and Du, and the company's continued commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships and expanding areas of cooperation by supporting advanced technologies and digital solutions to enhance the security ecosystem and reinforce the readiness of communications infrastructure and smart systems in support of digital transformation and sustainability objectives.
The meeting included discussions on several topics of mutual interest and explored future opportunities for collaboration in the fields of telecommunications, information technology, and digital transformation. The two sides also reviewed a range of strategic initiatives and specialized projects aimed at enhancing the work environment within the security sector and improving the efficiency of technological and communication systems to achieve the highest standards of quality and operational readiness across the Sharjah Police.
During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief was also briefed on du's latest technological solutions and services, as well as the company's advanced expertise in digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Both parties explored ways to leverage these capabilities to support the policing system and further develop the Police’s technological and communications infrastructure, contributing to enhanced institutional performance, strengthened safety and security, and a more effective strategic partnership that supports the Emirate of Sharjah's vision for a more advanced and sustainable digital future.
