In the Emirate of Sharjah, we believe that preserving and
spreading culture is the deepest secret and the greatest reason for the
development and elevation of nations. That’s why we always find Sharjah
leading in spreading culture and knowledge by hosting and organizing the most
important cultural and knowledge events.
Year after year, we renew our gratitude and appreciation to His Highness
Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, member of the Federal Supreme Council
and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife for their broad interest and abundant
support for everything related to children’s affairs. They have embraced
numerous cultural activities, scientific initiatives, and events that enrich
their cognitive aspects, instilling in them a love for reading and a passion
for learning. All these efforts aim to enable children to keep pace with the
challenges of the times and the demands of modernity, ensuring that children
play a major role in the advancement of their nations and societies. They are
to be the cornerstone of the modern society, embracing scientific,
environmental, and cognitive advancements across various fields.
As usual, being an integral part of all cultural, knowledge, and social
events in the Emirate, the Sharjah Police General Command participated in the
15th edition of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival with numerous
activities aimed at children, including educational workshops and informative
lectures. The aim was to instill a love for reading among children and
adolescents, harnessing their creative abilities to spread awareness and
develop their understanding of security matters. The endeavor is to reach a
modern and sophisticated policing system with strategic developmental goals
that serve all members of society.
The character of “Junior Policeman” contributed to many awareness events,
entertainment competitions, and activities. These included educational
lectures conveying informative messages, reflecting an overall promotion of
cognitive interaction and societal communication. They serve both children
and their families, providing enjoyable and beneficial reading experiences.
