With strong efforts and clear planning, security in the United Arab Emirates is no longer just a slogan — it is a real part of daily life. In this spirit, the Sharjah Police General Headquarters prepared fully for the back-toschool season, knowing that the safety of students is a top priority.
Sharjah Police used all its teams and resources to create a full security plan for a safe and smooth start to the school year. The plan focused on community awareness, field readiness, and clear safety messages. Officers worked to spread awareness among students and parents about the importance of following traffic rules and practicing safety. Patrols were placed around schools and crossings to make sure traffic moves safely.
Drivers were reminded to be very careful near schools, stop completely for students crossing, and pay extra attention during busy hours. The police also stressed the need for children to sit in the back seat and wear seat belts for the best protection. Parents and schools were encouraged to work together with the police to keep students safe.
In addition to field work, Sharjah Police launched a large awareness campaign through newspapers, radio, TV, and social media. Messages were shared in three main languages — Arabic, English, and Urdu — to reach students, parents, bus drivers, taxi drivers, and all road users.
