Description

A service for completing death procedures, provided to the deceased's family or their representatives by Sharjah Police General Command employees. It is divided into:
• Burial of a body within the Emirate of Sharjah
• Cremation of a body within the Emirate of Sharjah
• Transportation within the country
• Transfer of the body outside the country

Steps

Go to the police office at the hospital

Service Fees

Issuing a Death Certificate (Ministry of Health and Prevention):
• AED 63 (an additional AED 3 fee depending on the payment method used (Mastercard or Visa card/bank transfer))
Request to recieve a Corpse (Public Prosecution):
• AED 20
Embalming the Corpse (Sharjah Police):
• AED 3,020.50
• AED 3,061.74 (if paid by bank card)
Cremation (Sharjah City Municipality + Indian Association + Sharjah Police):
• Municipality Fee: AED 1,000 (Sunday to Thursday)

• Burial Permit from Sharjah Municipality if burying non-Muslims in Sharjah
Cremation Requirements:
• Cremation Permit from Sharjah Police
